First Year Applicant
I am a Canadian born of Filipino immigrants. My parents are from Butubut, a small village in La Union, Philippines. My mom immigrated to Canada in 1994, followed by my dad in 1998. I was born that year. We lived in Scarborough until grade 2, then moved to Markham, where I spent the next 15 years.

My faith journey deepened after attending an Alpha class, where I rekindled my relationship with Christ. I prayed daily for God’s guidance, and through a series of encounters, including a transformative confession with Father Brenton and a visit to the Companions of the Cross, I found clarity in my call to the priesthood.
The peace and joy I experienced with the Companions affirmed my decision. It feels like God led me through all my life experiences to bring me to this moment, where I now feel at peace with discerning the gift of the priesthood.
