Fr. John Fletcher, CC

About Me
My name is Fr. John Fletcher, CC.
When did you join the community?

What My Adoption Means

The effectiveness of my ministry is directly impacted by the ongoing formation and leadership development I receive from my community. Adopting me or any other Companions’ priest ensures that we can be priests who are thriving and not simply surviving.

My Story

What was your background before you joined the CC?
I worked as and Industrial Engineer, Computer Consultant and Bartender.  The year prior to my joining the CCs I was involved in youth ministry with Rejoice! Ministries in northern California.

What led you to join this community?
After discerning that God could be calling me to the priesthood, I visited the CCs and immediately felt “at home”.  The seminarians and priests that I met were very welcoming.  Most of the men I spoke with attributed their vocation in some way to Our Blessed Mother which was important to me since it was through her intercession that I came to practice my faith.

What kind of ministry are you doing now?
I am currently serving as a Catholic priest in the U.S. Army.
